JUNE FLOWER SHOW

During the last three months, our growing season has been challenging and at the end of yet another week of heavy rainfall and high winds, we had our June Show. Much to everyone's surprise there was a record number of entries from 19 members and the standard of entries was high, especially in the rose section.

The ROSE CUP was awarded to Mike Potts with Michael Horne and April Janman in second and third places.

The SWEET PEA CUP was awarded to Pat Arthur, the runners up were April Janman and Lynda Marsh.

Mandy Davis received the cup for GARDEN FLOWERS, Anne Holloway was in second place and April Janman and Pat Arthur joint third.

The VEGETABLE CUP went to Brian Turbefield, with Ray Turbefield in second and Michael Horne and April Janman joint third.

April Janman was awarded the FRUIT CUP, with Brian Turbefield and Lawrence Holloway the runners up.

The Rosette for BEST IN SHOW was presented to Mike Potts for his five large flowered roses.
